Sony BDP-S790 Blu-ray Player with WiFi

Galaxyneon- Sony is shipping its sleek BDP-S790 Blu-ray Disc Player with WiFi connectivity. The new model supports playback of Blu-ray Discs, DVD and CD, and sports a dual-core processor for faster response and enhanced performance. Thanks to WiFi, the player can access Sony Entertainment Network for online media streaming, including UltraViolet streaming services powered by VUDU, Netflix, Pandora…etc.


The Sony BDP-S790 supports 4K upscaling for enhance playback quality of HD and SD sources. It also includes IP Content Noise Reduction. The S790 supports DLNA for wireless media streaming from compatible devices, and there is front USB port for direct media playback. Other features include compatibility with HomeShare Network Speaker, and Media Remote iOS/Android app.
