Audio-Technica ATH-ANC9 QuietPoint Active Noise-Cancelling Headphones

Galaxyneon - Audio-Technica introduces the new top-of-the-line ATH-ANC9 QuietPoint active noise-cancelling headphones. According to the company, the over-ear headphones can block up to 95% of outside noise, without scarificing sound quality, thanks to QuietPoint technology. The active noise-cancelling need an AAA battery to operate and the headphones also work when the function is turned off and operates in passive mode. It sports 40mm sound drivers and comes with replaceable memory foam earpads for comfortable use.


The ATH-ANC9 features the new Tri-Level Cancellation, offering three noise-cancellation settings for noise reduction of up to 30 dB over a wide range of environmental noise conditions – Mode 1 for use on airplanes, trains and buses and applies maximum noise-cancellation to low frequencies; Mode 2 for use in noisy offices and crowded places, and targets midrange frequencies; and Mode 3 is best for already-quiet locations like libraries.
The headphone comes with two detachable cables, one with an in-line microphone and controller for answering calls and controlling music, which works with iPhone, iPod and iPad. The ATH-ANC9 has a foldable design for easy storage and comes with a hard carrying case. A 1/4-inch adapter, an airline adapter are also included. Audio-Technica ATH-ANC9 is available for $349.95.
