Galaxyneon - There are some technology about the layers that able to make electronic devices became waterproof. But so far, there is no single manufacturer to implement it in a phone. Here’s the latest news from Daikin Industries on nano coating technology which make mobile phones will be more secure when exposed to water.
The form of this protective layer is liquid water and to make an electronic device to be waterproof, just soaked for 1 minute and the electronic device such as a phone will be safe when exposed to water. Other advantages of nano coating technology, because it just adds a layer thickness of about 0.1 to 1 micron, it will not affect to the electricity.
And when this layer is used, we still can use the earphone hole on the phone to listen the music/call without prejudice quality at all. Daikin Industries said that the new product that use the nano coating technology will be available this December.
