Optoma EcoBright TL30W and TL50W LED Projectors

Optoma introduces two new lamp-free projectors, the TL30W and TL50W of the EcoBright line, which utilize Solid State Illumination technology and use LED light source. Based on DLP display technology, both models provide WXGA 1280×800 resolution and 3000:1 contrast ratio. The TL30W features 300 lumens brightness while the TL50W delivers 500 lumens. Thanks to the Solid State Illumination technology, there’s no lamp to replace.
The TL30W and TL50W supports WiFi (using included wireless dongle) for connecting with smartphones, tablets, notebooks. They also come with built-in Office Viewer for showing Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel files as well as PDF, JPEG, BMP images; and a media player for playback of H.264 (AVI, MOV, MP4, 3GP), MPEG4 (AVI), Xvid (AVI), MJPEG (AVI) video files. In addition to 2GB onboard memory, there are also microSD(TL30W) or SD (TL50W) card slot and USB ports (for external storage devices) for storing presentation materials, making them capable of PC-free presentation.
These EcoBright projectors are intended for mobile professionals who want performance and portability, and are built with “power presentation on the go” concept. The compact TL30W measures 7.2″ x 1.8″ x 4.4″ abd weighs only 1.4 lbs. and fits easily into any briefcase or handbag; while its brother is slightly bigger at 8.7″ x 1.7″ x 6.7″ and 2.5lbs, yet still fits into a briefcase. Both projectors provide mini HDMI, VGA-in, micro USB, a 2.5mm AV input jack (for composite video and stereo audio-in), and a 3.5 mm audio-out jack, and comes with a wireless dongle, an IR remote control, VGA cable, type A to mini USB cable, carrying case. The price is $549 for TL30W and $649 for TL50W.
