Koss STRIVA is The World’s First WiFi Headphone System

Galaxyneon -Koss introduces the STRIVA, which is the world’s first WiFi headphones system capable of receiving music directly from the Internet. The line includes the full size STRIVA PRO headphones and STRIVA TAP in-ear monitors. The system includes the STRIVA Core, a miniature battery-powered computer that functions as a web server coupled with Wi-Fi components, which is built into STRIVA products; the MyKOSS server designed to link wirelessly with STRIVA products and connect them to remote Internet broadcasting sites; and the matchbook-sized STRIVA CAP (Content Access Point) wireless access point that converts music from a smartphone, music player or computer and and transmits it directly to STRIVA-enabled headphones or in-ear monitors using Wi-Fi. Put it simple, the STRIVA CAP is a wireless transmitter that send music wirelessly to STRIVA headphones.
The STRIVA PRO is an over-the-ear headphone that combines superior sound quality with elegant design. The foldable headphones feature gesture-based controls on the ear cup. The STRIVA TAP, on the other hand, is a tiny in-ear monitor measuring only 1.5 inches in length. Instead of connecting the left and right earpieces using wires, the TAPs synchronize the music for stereo sound, thanks to to the microprocessors in each earpieces. The TAP also has capacitive touch controls on the face of the device.
Both STRIVA PRO and STRIVA TAP come with a STRIVA CAP that connects to audio sources such as MP3 player, smartphone, tablet, using 3.5mm headphone jack. The STRIVA PRO is priced at $450 while the STRIVA TAP costs $500.
