Galaxyneon-Netgear introduces the R6300, the first WiFi router powered by Broadcom’s WiFi IEEE 802.11ac chips, enabling 5th generation WiFi (5G WiFi) at gigabit speeds that is up to 3x faster than 802.11n. Thanks to the new chips, the router delivers a high transfer speed, offering up to 1300Mbps on 5GHz and 450Mbps on 2.4GHz, with support fot simultaneous dual-band WiFi technology. Of course, the router is also compatible with WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n for optimum interoperability. It has a elegant new design that is stylish and space-saving.

The Netgear R6300 is equipped with high-powered radio amplifiers for boosted performance, and 128MB flash and 128MB of RAM. It supports Advanced Quality of Service (QoS), IPv6 Support, WPA/WPA2—PSK and Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) for Push-N-Connect. The 802.11ac router also support ReadySHARE USB Access and ReadySHARE Printer for sharing USB storage devices and printers easily. It is also DLNA and AirPrint ready.
Coming in May, the Netgear R6300 WiFi 802.11ac router will be priced at $199.99.
