Mitsubishi introduces two new professional portable projectors with high-brightness, the WD720U and XD700U both based on DLP display technology. Both models are 3D-ready for rendering 3D images, and of course you have to prepare electronic shutter glasses. The WD720U features 1280×800 native resolution, 3000:1 contrast ratio and 4300 lumens brightness, while the XD720U delivers 1024×768 images with 3000:1 contrast and 5000 lumens brightness. They have 5-Segment (R,G,B,W,Y) color wheel.
Galayneon - The WD720U and XD700U can connect to PC via USB cable, eliminate the need for a VGA cable. They also support LAN display for showing images via LAN and up to four computers can be connected to one projector, with the projection screen can be divided into quaters to showing all computer screens at the same time. The projectors are also capable of PC-free presentation, by showing .PTG files (converted from PowerPoint files) and JPEG images directly from USB flash drive.
Mitsubishi’s new projectors have HDMI, two D-sub VGA, S-video, RCA video inputs as well as RS232 serial connector and a built-in RJ45 input for plug-and-play connectivity with third-party (such as Crestron and AMX) remote management products. The WD720U and XD700U also come with a built-in audio mixer so the projectors can simultaneously play audio from two sources.
