Digital Storm Aventum series Performance PCs with Cryo-TEC Cooling System

Galaxyneon- Digital Storm launches its new Aventum range of gaming systems featuring the Cryo-TEC cooling system and custom designed chassis. Claimed to be the industry’s first truly custom high-performance PC, the Aventum features a custom chassis that a proprietary thermal exhaust chamber, intelligent 5 thermal zone regulation and 13 customizable fans that can be controlled with Aventum software; and the Cryo-TEC liquid cooling system that utilizes direct contact heat dissipation to remove heat from the CPU and then processes that liquid through 3 massive 420mm heat exchange radiators.

Digital Storm’s Aventum is available in four base configurations – Good, Better, Best and Ultimate and of course, you can customize your own system. The Aventum can be equipped with up to dual Intel Xeon E5-2630 Six-Core procesors, up to 32GB of RAM, three EVGA GeForce GTX 680 2GB with Triple SLI. As for storage, all models comes standard with 1TB hard drive and slot-loading DVD burner, and sport up to 180GB SSD. The price starts at $3859.

Samsung’s vacuum tube driven speaker lineup gets priced, available this Spring

It’s no secret that Samsung’s been teasing a major interest in premium audio since CES, blending digitally powered speakers with vacuum tube pre-amplifiers, and today the company’s spilling the details regarding US pricing on a trio of systems, all of which will be available in the Spring.

Galaxyneon- The star of the show is the $800 DA-870 Audio Dock, featuring the rear-mounted dual dock for Galaxy (charging only) and iOS devices. Clad in a polished wood case (available in black or cherry), the 2.1 stereo system pumps out up to 100 watts of power through its glass fiber speakers and tweeters. As an added touch, its JJ Electronics 12AU7 tubes (the same you could use for guitar amps) are sunken in from its top under glass, allowing for clear view of their glow. Best of all, aside from the requisite USB and 3.5mm inputs, the DA-870 works wirelessly with Samsung’s AllShare Play, AirPlay and Bluetooth 3.0 w/ aptX.

Moving past the HiFi category, Samsung’s also priced a duo of surround sound systems aimed at the home theater market. To start, there’s the $1,000 HT-E6730W Blu-ray 3D 7.1 home theater system and its $800 5.1 sibling, the HT-E6500W Blu-ray 3D — both of which feature the same tube pre-amp and similar wireless capabilities as the DA-870.

Notably, the E6730W features a tiltable top speaker on each of its stereo towers, allowing for a more personalized output depending on your room. Furthermore, if you happen to have a DA-870, too, you’ll be able to stream the audio via Bluetooth if you find yourself far away from your television. There’s no exact date on when you’ll be able snag any of them, but Samsung notes that the 5.1 system is currently shipping.

Verizon LG Lucid Affordable 4G Smartphone

Galaxyneon- Verizon Wireless brings a new 4G LTE smartphone, the LG Lucid with an affordable price. The new handset supports Verizon’s 4G LTE mobile network, and includes mobile hotspot feature for users to share 4G internet connection to up to 10 WiFi devices. The Lucid is powered by a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM.
The LG Lucid comes with a 4-inch touchscreen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, which should be enough for creating and editing HD videos right on the Lucid using the pre-loaded Video Producer app. The phone has a 5 Megapixel auto focus main camera with flash and Full HD 1080p video recording and a front camera for video chat. It supports Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi as well as DLNA for wireless SmartShare of media.
LG’s Lucid runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, upgradable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich; and comes pre-loaded with Polaris Office app, Quick Reply, Quick Dialer widget and Swype keyboard. Coming in 29 March, the Lucid is priced at $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a 2-year contract.

Commodore C64x Keyboard PC

Galaxyneon - Commodore USA recreates the legendary Commodore 64, introducing the new C64x keyboard PC with a design so close to the original one. The new C64x uses mini-IXT PC motherboard and is powered by Intel Atom D2700 2.13GHz dual-core processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT520 with 512MB RAM and 4GB of DDR3 memory.


The C64x keyboard PC is equipped with a slot-load Blu-ray drive and can house up to 3TB SATA hard drive or 600GB Intel 320 SSD. It supports Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 3.0 and WIFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity and comes with a multi-in-one card reader.
The Commodore C64x is pre-loaded with Commodore OS Vision, the company’s custom Linux distribution, which will allow you to play all your favorite 8-bit era Commodore games with a single click. The above configuration is called C64x Supreme that costs $1295, and Commodore also release the C64x Barebone for $345.
